SOUL SISTA SHOWDionne is a Professional Self-Managed, Female Vocalist who runs her own company, SoulSista Productions, since 2003. She performs regularly on the circuit in the West Midlands, as well as Holiday Parks and other venues across the country. She is gaining in reputatation for her Soul Sista Show in which is brimming with Motown, Disco and Funk hits. She plays with Professional Backing Tracks and comes with her own high quality PA system and Sound Engineer. JAZZDionne works regularly for Joolz Gianni, 'I Want your Sax', a well-established Saxophonist who has been on the circuit for many years. She also plays at Jazz venues, such as The Drum in Aston and The Corks Club in Bearwood, Birmingham alongside Andy Hamilton and The Blue Notes. JO BRODionne sings with a large piece band which is comprised of musicians who are highly acclaimed in their field after having played with names such as Edwin Star, Boney M, Musical Youth and many more well-known artists. Dionne and band are now currently in the process of writing new material. GOSPELDionne is a born again Christian and does alot of singing within the Christian Community. She sings in Worship Bands, Gospel Choirs, at large Christian Events and also has appeared on various contemporary Christian albums (see the discography on her Music page). Dionne will shortly be setting up a brand new Gospel Choir in Birmingham too. |

VALUABLE FOOLSDionne has done some stunning work singing with Rock band, the Valuable Fools, reminiscent of that classic '70s Vinegar Joe LP which featured Robert Palmer, Pete Gage and Elkie Brookes (in other words I like it). Roy is currently the longest serving member of the drifters, and was founder of the '70s disco funk sensation, JALN. Other session work includes working with Lizzy Parks, one of the best new singers around, and John Mostyn, former manager of Fine Young Cannibals & The Beat. PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENTDionne leads Seminars as part of the Creative Business Fair at Birmingham Central Library, educating students on the subject of 'Singing for a Living'. This covers everything from looking after your voice to the nuts and bolts of running a small business. She also teaches group and private workshops on Basic Vocal Techniques.
